Stockland Scamper 2025
Returning again in 2025 after a six year hiatus, the Stockland Primary Academy PTA and Ruby Red Running have teamed up to revive the ever popular Stockland Scamper, featuring a 10km, 5km and 3km multi-terrain run around the beautiful countryside of Stockland, located near Honiton, East Devon.

Expect mud, expect river crossings and expect hills.... most of all expect to have a great time! Refreshments and cake will on sale, handmade by the PTA, a perfect treat after a challenging trail race.

There will be some parking at event HQ and more nearby – It could be up to a 10 minute walk to race HQ

The Stockland Scamper is a physical 10k course open to anyone 16 or over. It is hilly, muddy and the weather on the day can have a huge impact. It really is a course to get your teeth in to!
Stockland Scuttle is 5km and we still promise hills and probably a lot of mud - a full bodied mini version of the 10k route. Minimum age 12 on the day.
The Stockland Scuttle is 3km, mostly through open fields. It is suitable for any age. There'll still be mud, but we promise you won't notice the hills (as much)!
To ensure the well being of all participants we follow the age/distance guidance of England Athletics and the Trail Running Association.

Race Day Information

Entry on the day for all courses will be available.
Please make your way to the village hall for both entry on the day and pre-entered Bib collection.
There are toilets at the village hall
Bags can be left in the village hall at your own risk

8.45: Parking opens (please do not arrive before this)
9:00: Registration opens
9.30: Entry on the day registration closes
9.45: Pre-entry bib collection closes
10.00: Stockland Scamper starts (10km)
10.05: Stockland Scuttle starts (5km)
10:10: Stockland Scurry starts (3km)
10:40 approx: First finisher of Stockland Scamper 10km
11:40 approx: Prize giving
13.00: Courses close
Event HQ: Stockland Village Hall, Stockland, Honiton EX14 9EF, UK (close to the school)
The Event HQ is easily accessible from the A30 and the A35, situated between Honiton and Axminster.
To minimise the disruption to local residents, and reduce walk times to registration, we ask that you car share where ever possible.
Stockland village hall is the location of race HQ and registration.

- Refreshments will be on sale during and after the races.

There is no mandatory kit for any of the courses however:
* Trail shoes are highly recommended - the course will be muddy and slippery in places.
* Please consider the weather when deciding on clothing - it could be wet, cold, windy or all three!
* There will be a water station on the 10km course, but not on the 5km or 3km courses.
Spectators are more than welcome to come and cheer you on. The course is along lanes and footpaths over farmland. Spectators are welcome anywhere on the course, but please be mindful of livestock, shut gates and keep dogs on short leads. The finish is always a lively location!
Refreshments will be available in the Event HQ.
